Recovery Teacher Training Program

National Association for Children and Adults with Autism from Romania (ANCAAR) organizes the Recovery Teacher Training Program, cod COR 235 205 (Classification of Occupations in Romania), authorized by the National Qualifications Authority (ANC).

The program is interactive, dynamic, offering to all participants practical cases and first sight interaction with beneficiaries.  

The program curricula includes 60 training hours, divided into 20 hours of theory and 40 hours of practice, with the following modules:

  • Introduction into the Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Diagnosis in ASD
  • Evaluation of ASD individual
  • Establishing a personalized intervention plan
  • Case management
  • Pre-therapy
  • Behavioral theory
  • Management of undesirable behaviors
  • Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
  • Alternative communication system- PECS
  • TEACCH approach
  • Give me 5 method
  • Play therapy
  • Coaching for individualized-study case
  • Speech and language intervention
  • I am Special method
  • Denver method
  • Community integration
  • Control of sexual manifestations of the person with ASD
  • Occupational therapy
  • Support group. Its role for caregivers of persons with ASD.

The program is aimed for people with secondary education (minimum high-school diploma) or university, working or wanting to work in Autism field, psychologists, speech therapists, social workers, students, and families of people with Autism, teachers or educators in contact with people with ASD.

Our trainers team is formed by : Psychopedagogist and Educational Counselor Georgeta Crişu (ANCAAR), M.D. Florina Rad (Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Obregia Hospital, Bucharest), Lecturer Dr. Simona Marica (doctor in Psychology- Spiru Haret University), Dr. Loredana Banica (doctor in Psychology- Spiru Haret University).

Program fee: 900 RON/person. This fee includes the course support, coaching for case intervention and coffee breaks.

For enrollment please send us the following documents: copy of your valid ID,  copy of the certificate of marriage (if needed), copy of your last study diploma, and the payment confirmation of a minimum advance of 200 RON.

After final exam, the program is followed by graduation certificate issue and acknowledged by ANC.
